With the end of the summer holidays now a distant blip on the horizon, it was time to start the Autumn/Winter climbing season.
Since there was no snow about yet Dave and I decided to pop down Swanage and see what the weather was like. As it turned out it was still rather warm, and the decision to bring my waterproofs, buff and gloves proved quite pointless!
I managed to lead a couple of new routes which I had previously top roped, a VS 4c and a S 4a. Dave created his own new route of S 4a and has been aptly named Button Moon. He also climbed High Street (Diff) and the very Greasy Chimney (VDiff).
Here's a photo of me on Face Away (VS 4c).
The days climbing had got me quite psyched, and come Monday evening I was still pining for more! Next time I'm there I am hoping to onsight a VS 5a, so stay tuned!
And now a first time treat for you all, a couple of videos! Enjoy.
