5 Mile Forest Run

Yesterday I ran a 5 mile loop from Fritham. I'd walked this route the other week, but had never run it before.

It was raining all day yesterday (and pretty much all week!) so there was a lot of water about. This run is great for wet weather, as it is all on hard packed trails, so there is very little in the way of mud!

The fibula felt pretty solid through most of it, and I tried to go nice and easy and not go out too fast. Which I failed to accomplish, but never mind! It feels better than it usually does after a run too, so it looks like the rest it had this week has helped. A bit of stretching and squatting also seems to be helping to loosen the muscles up.

Was meant to be going climbing today, but the weather is not great and Brad has cut his finger messing about with his bike. So we're leaving it for next weekend and praying the weather will improve.
