...I don't think it is a stress fracture - thank goodness!
Yesterday I was very stiff and limping around on my foot all over the place. Putting my weight on the foot gave me a sharp pain.
But, after work I went to buy some new climbing shoes. As I was trying some shoes out and teetering about on the tiny foot holds they had in the store, it seemed the stretch out some tendons in my ankle. A little more stretching in the evening and I'm walking on it fine now - without a limp.
Its still a little tender when dorsiflexing my foot, but at least its not a stress fracture as I was fearing. Which means I'll be back running sooner I hope!
I've just finished a quick 12 mile bike ride this afternoon, out to East Grimstead, up Pepperbox Hill and back through West Grimstead. Lovely sunny day, but quite breezy.
