Running Well

I've had a couple of good runs this week. First on Wednesday with Cerian along Pepperbox Hill, and yesterday back out to the Forest.

It was a sunny day yesterday and it felt good getting out in the Forest. I've missed it over the past eight weeks I've had off waiting for my leg to recover. Its not completely there yet, but doing a 5k at least once a week is helping it to strengthen up.

I've also been breaking in my New Balance MT00 shoes, which are extremely light and very breathable. You should be able to see my toes through the top of the shoes! Really enjoying them.

I was planning on climbing this weekend, but Brad has tweaked his back and is currently sofa bound. I have been contemplating going by myself today, but don't seem to be able to motivate myself to do so. If the crag were nearer I'm sure I'd be down there now, but its just over an hour away and seems a long way to go to on your own.

I have been continuing my bouldering sessions at Fort Purbrook recently. The past couple of weeks I have gone down on a Friday after work when it's very quiet and usually have the place to myself. I managed to film myself doing a couple of the roof problems - steep and juggy they way I like it - check out the video below.
